Lumbar pillow

For many of you sitting in one place for long hours is a daily grind, whether you work in an office or at home in front of the computer, or drive for hours in your car. Many others think this is not a hard work to do, but you don’t know it until you’ve tried it. So for those who actually know how tiring and painful sitting on one place for hours can be, we have a good news. Now you can make the pain in the lumbar area or lower back disappear. It’s simple as that – just get yourself a lumbar pillow.
It is ergonomically designed to give proper support to your back when sitting. Made form temperature smart visco elastic memory foam it molds perfectly to your lower back providing comfortable, but firm support that helps to maintain balanced spinal alignment. It’s designed to relieve pressure on important nerves and muscles in your lower back that can otherwise become inflamed and painful. The lumbar pillow has two side supports made form high resilient memory foam that wrap your lower back for even more comfortable position.
Prices on the lumbar pillows vary again depending on the quality of the memory foam, but normally they are around $50 which is far from high for something that’s gonna ease your pains and make your work hours fly by unnoticed. You can get just one pillow and use it on your working place, in your car and at home, or arm yourself with several to avoid carrying it around with you. The pillows are very durable and are guaranteed to last for a long time.

Memory foam body pillow

Here’s something we haven’t talked about until now. Some of you may’ve never even heard of something like that…a big mistake if you ask me as this is one of the most comfortable pillows.
Usually when we hear pillows we think about the normal square pillows we rest our heads at when we go to sleep. This is actually a little different one. It’s rounded and stretched in length, and has plenty of practical uses. Usually the pillows can be made of different in quantity and quality layers of memory foam just like the mattresses and this will reflect on their price.
The core of the pillow I’ve chosen to show you is made of 8” of super soft poly fiberfill. The core is then wrapped in ½” of high density memory foam. This combination provides almost human body-like touch and feel to the pillow, making it very soft and comfortable. It gently molds to your body shape cradling you in all the right places. But why is this pillow considered better than the ordinary ones? As we said before, it has plenty of practical uses, like it is perfect for reading or watching TV as it gives you the perfect back support you need. It can also be used as leg pillow, lumbar pillow, but probably its best usage is as what we like to call “pregnancy pillow”. The pregnancy pillow gives you just the right support throughout the different phases of pregnancy. Even better – when the baby is born the pillow can be used as support during nursing, napping, feeding or even playing. It eases the stress and strain every night, night after night so you can sleep well and be brisk and rested in the morning.
I’ve already mentioned that prices can vary, just like in the other memory foam products. The model I was talking about costs $109, but you can find those for less money depending on the quality of the memory foam. So whether you choose a body pillow or a normal one is only matter of preference. If you ask my opinion you should have both as they can complement each other very well and by that make your sleep even better and restful.

Latex pillows

The time has come for the latex pillow review. We’ve already talked about the latex substitutes of the memory foam mattresses and the memory foam toppers so it’s only natural to move to the one and only substitute of the memory foam pillow – the latex one.
We’re not gonna repeat the latex advantages and disadvantages before the memory foam as you’ve already seen them in the previous reviews. Again here as in the comparison between memory foam and latex toppers there is no answer to the question which one is better. Both latex pillows and memory foam pillows are a must if you want to improve your sleep. Latex pillow just like the memory foam one provide proper orthopedic neck support which helps ease your neck and shoulder pains (if any). The only difference again is that the latex, being all natural product, makes the latex pillow eco-friendly. Latex pillow is considered very hypo-allergenic, mite resistant and anti-microbial to resist the development of common germs, bacteria and mildew. Still the question about the ventilation remains. As we’ve said in the latex foam toppers review the latex structure makes it difficult for the air flow to go through so the toppers must have a special design in order the ventilation to be improved. And if in the latex foam toppers the solution to that difficult air circulation was the air ventilation perforation, in the latex pillows the solution is in the unique open air sell structure. The open air sell structure helps the air flow go easily through your pillow and keep it dry and fresh day after day.
Again the diferenses between the quality of the pillows reflects on their prices. Beside the latex foam density (as you already know 3, 4 and 5lb is the density you should be looking for) there is something else you should be careful about when buying a latex pillow. The IDF or the Indentatiopn Force Deflection indicator. The IDF is coined as the technical “softness” or “hardness” of a given piece of foam, specifically the pounds of force required to indent a 4-inch-thick sample of foam. Practically speaking this would be the most accurate number to look at for gauging firmness. Be careful and insist on the IDF indicator as many of the sellers do not provide this information. Sizes just like the quality also can change the latex pillow price. A standard good quality pillow can be priced for about 50 to 60 dollars. The prices can go up to $75 for a good quality king size pillow.

Memory foam pillow

A lot has been said and wrote about memory foam mattresses and memory foam toppers, but when it comes to a real good night sleep there’s one thing we can’t go without, and this is the pillow. We all know how ordinary pillows can be very discomfort and get all shabby and flat in time…so the only solution for that till now was to just throw the old pillow away and get a brand new one. Well with all those memory foam mattresses and toppers surrounding us lately you can’t possibly think they haven’t thought about pillows from the same material, but of course the have. And if you ask me even if you can’t afford getting a memory foam mattress of memory foam topper what you should definitely get is the memory foam pillow.

I don’t think there’s more to be said about the memory foam qualities – they are undeniable, actually all you have to know here is that the pillow benefits of all of those qualities 100%. Even more, its anatomically formed base helps and supports your neck and insures the right positioning of the spine. By doing that it eases the pain in your neck and shoulders. The memory foam pillow is temperature sensitive and self-adjustable to your unique way of sleeping. If you lay on your back it allows your head to lay deep down and induces proper movements of your vertebrae. When laying on your side the anatomical base makes sure that the space between your head and shoulders is properly filled. So no matter your body position you know it will give you calm and restful sleep all night.

And just like the case with the toppers and memory foam beds there are many different type of memory foam pillows. Usually that difference is in the density in the memory foam itself. And as you already know 4lb or 5lb is considered the best density choice. There are also different shapes…you can chose either a normal shaped pillow or the wave shaped one. This is entirely up to you and your preferences. Prices can vary from $30 to $60 and again are connected to the differences already mentioned. So as I said before…even if you can’t afford a memory foam mattress or a memory foam topper the only other way to better your sleep just a little bit is to get a memory foam pillow. Trust me it’s worthy.
